They are seeking a licensed Electrician to join their building automation team in Concord, ON. Salary: $75-80K/ year, depending on experience.

Education: Red Seal Electrician or Ontario Journeyman 309A ticket required.

Experience: Previous experience installing residential, commercial or industrial automation in a similar role is required.  

Skills and Abilities:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret drawings, circuit diagrams and electrical code specifications to determine wiring layouts for new or existing installations.
  • Pull, splice, join, and connect wire and install brackets and hangers.
  • Test continuity of circuits using test equipment to ensure compatibility and safety of system, following installation, replacement or repair.
  • Troubleshoot and isolate faults in electrical and electronic systems and remove and replace faulty components.
  • Connect communication and signaling devices to heating and cooling systems.
  • Provide guidance and mentor the apprentice electrician.
  • Other duties as required.

Working Conditions:

  • Physical ability to lift up to 50lbs.
  • Travel to the site, and off-site locations will be required.
  • Safety equipment will be required, e.g. steel-toed safety boots, safety glasses/goggles, etc.
  • Will be exposed to construction sites.
  • ·       Work both indoors and outdoors.
