The Superintendent has the responsibility of supervising all activities on the construction project, controlling day to day operations, all subcontractors, and the project schedule. The Superintendent is responsible for ensuring the quality of work and materials is upheld, the workers are implementing what is on the design plan, all safety measures are being taken, and that all company standards are met. The superintendent is the onsite contact for all subcontractors, engineer, and owner representatives.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Management of subcontractors
  • Communication with inspectors and owners
  • Coordination with Project Manager
  • Organization and management of field crews
  • Providing problem resolution in construction activities
  • Determining and carrying out project schedules
  • Integrating submittal information for project coordination
  • Leading jobsite safety meetings
  • Interpreting blueprints and contract specifications for field use
  • Ordering jobsite materials
