You as a Carpenter will: Follow OHSA and Ontario building code to adjust, repair and replace doors, door hardware, automatic door operators, windows, window glass, partitions, mobile furniture such as chairs, indoor and outdoor benches, tables, desks Fabricates, adjusts, repairs and replaces permanent and temporary wooden structures such as countertops, drawers, cupboards, workstations, wood and steel framing, etc. Proficient in the use of all hand tools and woodworking machines such as band saw, table saw, drill press, joiner and wood lathe. Source hardware, spare parts and accessories and maintain a reasonable level of inventory to minimize completion time of work orders Ensure the facility is in compliance with all Hospital, EllisDon Facilities Services and legislative policies and safety regulations.
